The best place to start in learning about me is learning about my family:
I am married for almost seven years to my college sweetheart, Matt. He is a computer network specialist with a consulting firm and an avid bowler. I have two boys, Owen and Jacob. Owen is very into Buzz Lightyear and Chicken Little right now. Jake is learning to crawl and enjoys eating his big brother’s toys! We also have a cat, Daphne, who is getting pretty old and is not a fan of the kids. She still likes Matt and I, however, and spends most of her time sleeping the day away.
I am a teacher with my undergrad in Deaf Studies Teacher Education from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL and my Masters is in Early Childhood Special Education from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. I work as a birth to three specialist, which I enjoy, but scrapbooking is my passion. It is my escape from the world and I love every minute that I get to do it. I also enjoy card crafting and jewelry making.
I love my family, I love to take pictures, I love to meet people, I love to teach people how to find their creative side and I have a deep faith in God. I am thankful everyday for the blessings in my life and try to live for everyday and every experience.

Wow, this is hard. My iPod makes me look like a schizophrenic. All time favorite would have to be Bon Jovi (don’t laugh…), Switchfoot, MXPX, The Killers, Louis Armstrong, Casting Crowns, Great Big Sea, Frank Sinatra, Black Eyed Peas, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Alanis Morrisette, The Offspring, Green Day (“Dookie” was one of the best albums ever!), and, of course, the second all-time favorite – The Barenaked Ladies
