I was born in sunny Southern California, and have definitely seen my fair share of the world! As a missionary of six years, I lived in the backwoods of countries that include Venezuela, South Africa, Zambia and Madagascar. But now back home in Los Angeles, I am pursuing my life-long interest in law enforcement as a Community Service Officer with the local Sheriff’s Department.

My immediate family is made up of my husband of 15 years and a seven-year old daughter, who is such a beautiful bright spot in my life!

Scrapbooking has always played a part in my life in one fashion or another. Outside of work I enjoy being a part of the Creative Team for Timeless Treasures (a local super scrapbook store). I was published for the first time in Memory Makers “All Pet Pages” book and will be published in Legacy in June of 2006. I enjoy thinking outside of the box when it comes to my layouts and paper art projects. I love using mediums such as ink (of all kinds), paint, fabric, rubber stamps, an array of embellishments . . . whatever my hands can get a hold of and whatever my imagination can dream of. Of course I own umpteen Fiskars products and use them to the max. If I were to have to describe my style I would tend to say it’s “Shabby Chic,” but there is no limit for me - I also enjoy simple, colorful and styles of any kind.

I’m so excited to be a part of this movement and so excited for what the future holds for each one involved. I love the fact that it’s all ‘foundational’ work, it’s ground floor, a beginning, a new movement . . . awesome! That means input, big ideas, channeling energy and focus. Again . . . awesome!

Favorite music :
Country and Contemporary Christian – Love the old and new country. Some favorite artists - Third Day, Mercy Me, Chris Tomlin, Rascal Flatts.

Favorite Food:
Mexican food has to be number one, but I enjoy Italian food, old fashioned All American (hamburgers, apple pie, chili cheese dogs , etc.)

Favorite Snack:
Ice Cream absolutely does it for me - a little taste of heaven (especially peanut butter and chocolate). I also enjoy veggies with dip and Nachos.

Favorite Drink:
Iced Tea (sweetened), Lemonade, Diet Pepsi, Root Beer.

Favorite Color:
This is such a hard one for me. I love all the colors of the rainbow. I especially am partial to blue, green, pink, orange, purple.
