I was intrigued by several of the shape cutting templates Fiskars makes, and so I decided to try the Ultra ShapeXpress and see how it works. It sounded to easy- just put the tool in the template, cut along edges and you’ll have a cut shape. Well once I figured out I had the template upside down (doh!) it worked FABULOUSLY. And the tool works freehand too. (can’t wait to give that a go!)
Here is my first project with it. It’s box #2- how cute is it? It comes with a scoring template too so you can get nice clean folds. (I just used a pen and pressed hard over the scoring lines because I don’t have a scoring tool- it worked just fine) The chipboard on this is from Heidi Grace (woodland) and the paper is Making Memories (love that Boho Chic!!!)
So if you see me at a crop you’ll likely see me doing a make ‘n take with this tool (and the HG chipboard of course!!!) and I’m going to make a bunch more of these little boxes to fill with treats and treasures to give away too. =)
Happy crafting!
